Kinder’s Day at Tender Foot

It could be a discussion about the day’s weather, fun time with colours, a recycle-reuse project, hands-on gardening or learning to swim during games hour, our Triune Stimulative Education embraces the overall development of important aspects of life, at an early age.

Their First Opportunity for Growth

Kindergarten is a child’s first exposure to organised environments. It is an opportunity for the child to follow instructions, learn to share, learn to make friends and play well with others. We understand how children learn & develop, so our teaching programmes, activities, durations & KinderRoom space are precisely planned to be in sync with children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical abilities.

Consistency in Care for Social & Emotional Development

We value parents as the experts on their children and lay special focus on parent involvement because children thrive when there is consistency in care between home and school. Our teachers strive to understand and respect parents’ child-rearing goals and values and build a close personal connection with each child in their care. Our programs nurture warm relationships among children, teachers and parents.

Learning to Take Care of Themselves & Others

Much of a child’s learning takes place in the company of their peers. Their sense of competence and self-worth grows as they learn to take care of themselves and help others. Our teachers engage children in “real work” by offering them chances to help out in the classroom. Children are introduced to good manners & polite behaviours, developing their social abilities.

Nurturing Language Skills

Our teachers help children stretch their language skills by asking thought-provoking questions and introducing new vocabulary during science, art, snack time, and other activities. Children’s language skills are nurtured in a “language-rich” environment. Their vocabulary grows from 900 to 2500 words and their sentences become longer and more complex.

Developing Cognitive Ability

Children rely on their senses and “magical thinking” to comprehend new things. To nurture their curiosity and motivation to learn, our teachers use children’s interests and ideas to create activities. A child’s cognitive skills get strengthened when he is engaged in a wide range of hands-on activities that challenge him to observe closely, ask questions, test his ideas or solve a problem.

Improving Physical Abilities & Motor Skills

Children need to be challenged through a variety of activities to build their hand-eye coordination & balance, in early childhood. Physical activities help children to explore their environment & improve their physical coordination by challenging themselves in new ways. Our daily play time provides for children to run, climb, swim & enjoy a variety of active games that help them develop good motor skills.

Experience at Pre-School

A Pre-School is a toddler’s first experience among his play mates. He learns to share, learns to make friends and play well with others. We understand that when children are provided with age and development stage appropriate toys, it will aid them to correlate their play behaviour to reality. After all, Pre-School is all about learning through play.
